Meet the man in charge of creating Star Wars' creatures

It is not long before the highly anticipated Star Wars: The Force Awakens hits our big screens.

Along with the original cast and some new London talent the blockbuster will also see the return of the much loved aliens, droids and creatures that contribute to the films' mass appeal.

The man behind them is the London-based special effects supremo Neal Scanlon.

The BBC's Brenda Emmanus joined him at Pinewood Studios, where all six films were produced, to discover what it takes to bring these much-loved creatures to life.
