Alan Rickman remembered by friend Michael Gambon

Alan Rickman has died at the age of 69.

He played roles ranging from the tough guy villain in Die Hard to a Sheriff of Nottingham with his tongue planted firmly in cheek in Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves. Perhaps best known as Professor Severus Snape in the Harry Potter films.

Sir Michael Gambon, who was in Harry Potter with Rickman, spoke to Shaun Ley on Radio 4's World At One.
