Bleached beauty: The allure of overexposed photos

Belen Castello is an architect, artist and amateur photographer whose images and imagination are inspired by white.

As a child her friends derided her for choosing white as her favourite colour, and now that she is an adult she indulges her fascination by searching out scenes and creating pictures that are as pallid as possible.

Belen knows that what she is doing goes against the grain in a colour-saturated world, but still does it because it makes her feel good.

Belen Castello spoke to World Update's Dan Damon.
