Lord Alan Sugar on the news Mary Berry has decided to stay with the BBC out of 'loyalty'
Lord Alan Sugar has said Mary Berry did the "right thing" by quitting The Great British Bake Off when it moves to Channel 4 next year, whilst Paul Hollywood will continue as a judge.
Speaking to 5 live's Nihal Arthanayake, Lord Sugar said: "I'm sure she wants to see the programme be OK, but deep down I should imagine that she wouldn't be too disappointed if it bombed".
And on Love Productions, the company behind The Great British Bake-Off he added: "If I were the controller of the BBC, if I was a commissioner at the BBC, I wouldn't be too happy entertaining them again in the future with any of their other formats."
