New Frances video tackles domestic abuse
Domestic abuse charity Refuge had used Frances' aching ballad Grow to soundtrack their new campaign.
The animation is based on the story of Melanie Clarke, who endured more than decade of physical and psychological abuse at the hands of her ex-partner, whom she met when she was just 14.
After making the decision to leave him, she benefited from the expert support at Refuge. ,"It was like somebody turning on a light," she says. "They supported me to realise I was not alone and that I could have a safe and happy future."
The video is soundtracked by Frances' haunting ballad Don't Worry About Me - a song about supporting a friend in a time of need.
"I want nothing more than to give something back with my music," she said, "and I hope this incredibly important video will resonate with people all over the world."
