Maudie: Film looks at late folk artist Maud Lewis

Maudie is a new film in which Sally Hawkins stars as the severely arthritic, late Canadian folk artist Maud Lewis.

The film is a portrait of her marriage and the story of the blossoming of her artistic career. Ethan Hawke plays Lewis’s husband Everett.
