Harry Potter show opens on New York's Broadway

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child has opened at the Lyric Theatre in New York.

At a star-studded premiere, the play's author, JK Rowling, described having a show on Broadway as "incredible".

The show is an epilogue of Harry Potter's life, to follow on from the series of books.

The play opened in London's West End last year.
