Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie on racism in the US and cancel culture

Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie is a Nigerian writer whose novel set during the Biafran War won the Women's Prize for fiction 13 years ago.

Her novel Half of a Yellow Sun has now been voted the best book of the prize’s 25-year history by readers.

She spoke to Newsnight's Kirsty Wark about racism in the US and the cancel culture movement.
