Jungle fans remix University Challenge host Amol Rajan

University Challenge is known as TV's toughest quiz team tournament. It's recently been fielding more questions about popular culture.

In a recent episode, host Amol Rajan asked a team to name the "genre of dance music that developed in the UK in the early 1990s out of the rave scene and reggae sound system culture associated with acts such as A Guy Called Gerald and Goldie".

The students incorrectly answered "drum 'n' bass", to which Rajan responded: "I can't accept drum 'n' bass. We need jungle, I'm afraid."

After watching this, a university lecturer and long-time dance music enthusiast Nathan Filer was inspired. He posted on social media asking for people to remix the exchange. Dozens of people took him up on the offer and the results went viral.
