Bill Gates calls for new HIV strategy in downturn

Aids campaigner and Microsoft founder Bill Gates has said that the global economic downturn presents a challenge in the fight against HIV.

Speaking at the Aids 2010 conference in Vienna, Mr Gates said that it was vital that resources were used in a more efficient way to ensure the world could "start writing the story of the end of Aids".
