Lynda Bellingham on family's battle with Alzheimer's

The actress Lynda Bellingham has told BBC Breakfast that people should not be frightened by Alzheimer's.

The costs associated with dementia will amount to more than 1% of the world's gross domestic product this year at $604bn (£388bn), a report says.

Lynda Bellingham lost her adoptive mother to Alzheimer's and then found out her birth mother also had the condition. She is an ambassador for the Alzheimer's Society.
