Alzheimer's drugs U-turn is 'amazing news'

Alzheimer's Society ambassador Angela Rippon has welcomed the news that more patients in the early stages of the disease can receive drugs previously only available to more advanced cases.

The National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE) is changing its guidelines for England and Wales.

The watchdog has concluded there is evidence to justify the drugs for the treatment of "mild" symptoms.
