Parents want Stafford Hospital answers from inquiry

Frank and Janet Robinson's son John died after being mis-diagnosed and discharged from Stafford Hospital in 2006.

In a report, senior consultant Ivan Phair said John Moore-Robinson's death "was an avoidable situation".

A Healthcare Commission report in 2009 found about 400 more people died at the hospital between 2005 and 2008 than would be expected.

A public inquiry looking into previous standards of care at the hospital begins on 8 November.
