Care home turns back the clock on dementia
A residential care home in Wiltshire, England is trying a new approach to improve the lives of their residents affected by dementia.
Coombe End Court in Marlborough has recreated 1950s-style rooms to help remind residents of their youth.
They have seen impressive results, with patients reported to be more alert, happier and needing less medication.
One resident of Coombe End Court is Pat; she told the BBC World Service what the room means to her.
