Lansley: 'Half of GPs sign up for changes'

Plans to change the way the NHS in England is run are continuing to attract fierce criticism, with six health unions warning that the scale and pace of the changes are potentially disastrous.

The doctor's organisation the BMA, and the Royal College of Nursing, have also raised concerns but the Health Secretary Andrew Lansley said many GP practices had signed up to the changes.
