NHS overhaul draws concern from some medical staff

David Cameron has strongly defended the government's plans for a major overhaul of the NHS in England as MPs prepare for their first vote on the legislation on Monday.

Union leaders have condemned the measures in the Health and Social Care Bill to give GPs control of most of the NHS budget and responsibility for commissioning health services.
