Born in Bradford child health study accepts last member

One of the world's biggest research projects, the Born in Bradford study, has accepted its 14,000th participant.

Jacob, who was born last month, is the final baby to be signed up to the project, which will follow the progress of its members through the first 20 years of their lives.

The study aims to discover why the death rate among small children in the city and the surrounding area is so much higher than the national average.

Dominic Hughes reports.
