Aspirin: Cancer patient is 'walking time bomb'

Scientists have said a daily dose of Aspirin should be given to people at high risk of bowel cancer.

A study, published in the Lancet, shows a dramatic fall in the number of tumours in at-risk patients who were taking the drug.

Researchers say up to 10,000 cases could be prevented over the next 30 years.

Audrey Francis took part in an earlier study while she was undergoing treatment for cancer and she now takes aspirin every day.
