BMA calls for fresh debate on organ donation

Doctors are calling for more to be done to improve levels of organ donation.

The British Medical Association has said that even if current targets are reached, people on transplant lists would still die because of a shortage of donors.

It has recommended that people opt out of donation - rather than opting in - and floated more radical ideas.
