Early birth health risk to babies
Babies born as little as two or three weeks early are more likely to have health problems in the first few years of their lives, a study suggests.
The British Medical Journal research followed the health of 14,000 children born 10 years ago, from birth up to the age of five.
Doctors say the results challenge widely held views that babies born after 37 weeks have similar long-term outcomes to those born at full term.
