Rise in women having babies over 40

New figures have revealed that more women are having babies after the age of 40.

Data published by the Office for National Statistics (ONS) show a sharp rise over the past two decades.

The trend is believed to be driven by several reasons, which include varying career ambitions and the desire for financial stability before starting a family.
