Breast cancer drug Tamoxifen could be given on the NHS

Women in England and Wales who have a family history of breast cancer could be offered preventative medication on the NHS from this summer.

If approved by the regulator the National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence, the guidelines would apply to patients from this summer.

A leading breast cancer charity has called it an "historic step".
