Bobby Moore's wife on bowel cancer: 'Don't die of embarrassment'

The wife of footballer Bobby Moore, who died of bowel cancer in 1993, is encouraging men to visit their GP if they notice symptoms of the "very treatable" disease.

Bowel cancer rates among males have increased by more than a quarter in the last 35 years whereas for women the rise was just 6%, according to a report by Cancer Research UK.

Campaigner Stephanie Moore said: "It is essential people must not die of embarrassment in this day and age."
