US boy hears for first time after ground-breaking implant

A three-year-old boy in the US has been able to hear his father's voice for the first time after he was given an auditory brain stem implant.

Grayson Clamp from North Carolina, who had been deaf since birth, had the successful surgery at the University of North Carolina (UNC).

He is the first child in the US to have such an implant.
