Anti-depressant prescription numbers 'on rise'
More and more people are suffering from depression, according to new research from the Health and Social Care Information Centre.
The findings suggest a seven per cent increase in the number of people being prescribed anti-depressants in the last year.
The report also highlights the difficulty patients have accessing other treatments like talking therapies.
Dr Rosemary Leonard and former sufferer from depression, Katie Siobhan, discussed the hurdles of getting the right help for the condition.
