Peanut allergy study: Family daring to eat peanuts again

A trial involving 99 children allergic to peanuts has shown an 85% success rate in preventing the often severe reactions.

In the study in The Lancet, researchers from Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge explain how subjects initially eat small amounts of peanut, before building up to a large amount over three to four months, under hospital control.
