Mental health cuts 'affecting children' - Young Minds

A charity has warned that cuts to mental health services for children in England amount to a national crisis with tragic consequences.

Figures obtained by Young Minds show that more than half of councils have cut or frozen budgets for child and adolescent mental health.

Experts believe early care is better for patients and value for money but the Local Government Association says budget reductions meant tough decisions are necessary.
