Council-run care 'unsustainable', survey finds
Financial pressures and growing demands are making social care services for the elderly and adults with disabilities "unsustainable", social services chiefs have warned.
A survey of 144 social care departments in England found savings of more than a quarter had been made since 2010, but the Association of Directors of Adult Social Services fears that in the future fewer people will get the help they require.
