Obama: 'We are taking the Ebola outbreak very seriously'
President Obama has called on a more robust response to the global Ebola outbreak as he seeks to reassure Americans the risks to them are very low.
Speaking after a meeting with his top officials, Mr Obama said the US authorities were taking the Ebola cases in the US "very seriously at the highest levels of government".
But he said the key to preventing a more serious outbreak in the US was by tackling the disease in West Africa.
