Battling Ebola in Sierra Leone was 'life changing'
Despite a Scottish nurse contracting Ebola, 1,600 NHS workers have volunteered to fight the virus in west Africa.
It was feared that people would be put off helping, but even those who worked with Pauline Cafferkey, in Sierra Leone, have said they want to go back.
The BBC's Laura Bicker spent the day with one volunteer from the Highlands as he returned to work in the UK and reflected on his experience.
