Hunt 'calling time on bullying' in the NHS

A review into the treatment of NHS whistleblowers has called for a change of culture in the health service in England.

Sir Robert Francis's report says every Trust should appoint a guardian to support staff who raise concerns about patient care.

The government says the NHS has been made safer and more transparent.

In a statement to the Commons, the Health Secretary, Jeremy Hunt, said MPs would be profoundly shocked at the revelations, and bullying within the NHS had to stop.
