Meningitis vaccine: 'It's the news we've been hoping for'
A year after experts recommended all babies in the UK should be given the vaccine for meningitis B, the Department of Health has finally agreed a deal to fund the drug on the NHS.
Over 1,300 people - many of them children - are diagnosed with the virus each year, but negotiations over cost have delayed the process of making it available.
Linda Glennie, the head of research at the Meningitis Research Foundation, spoke to BBC Breakfast.
