Warning over phone scams targeting elderly

People with elderly relatives are being urged to warn them about the dangers of falling victim to a kind of phone fraud called "vishing", where scammers con people into revealing their bank details.

A review by the Financial Ombudsman Service of 185 phone scam cases found that 80% of those conned out of cash were over the age of 55.
