BMA on seven-day doctor working: 'We want to get real'

British Medical Association leader Dr Mark Porter has said the union supports more seven-day working but said senior doctors "already work weekends".

Health Secretary Jeremy Hunt has said he is prepared to impose seven-day working on hospital doctors in England.

The BMA has released a survey of 2,000 adults which found two thirds did not believe the NHS could afford seven-day services.
