Stillbirths down since smoking ban, researchers say

Stillbirths have dropped by almost 8% since the introduction of the smoking ban, according to new research.

It comes as the Royal Society for Public Health is calling for an extension of the smoking ban to include pub gardens, parks and outside schools in an effort to reduce tobacco consumption.

But smokers' groups say the move won't encourage people to quit.

Sophie Hutchinson reports.
