Junior doctors say 'enough is enough' over contract talks

The leader of the Junior Doctors' Committee say its members are "incredibly angry" at the "imposition" of a new contract about which there has been "no discussion".

Dr Johann Malawana said junior doctors had been "no party to agreeing proposals" in the new contract, which includes a pay cut.

He said the government were "backing us into a corner" and "enough is enough".

The committee will ballot its members on potential industrial action.
