UK 'provides best' end-of-life care in world'

The UK provides the best care in the world for people nearing the end of their lives, according to a major new study.

The report by the Economist Intelligence Unit looked at the quality and availability of palliative care in 80 countries. Bangladesh and Iraq ranked lowest.
