NHS and care sector: Safety a 'big concern' in England

There are significant concerns about safety throughout the NHS and care sectors in England, with particular problems in hospitals, according to inspectors.

The Care Quality Commission looked at 79 hospital trusts and found that three-quarters of them had safety problems.

They also had concerns about a significant number of care and nursing homes.
