Health Secretary says 'door is open' for doctors' pay talks

The Health Secretary Jeremy Hunt has offered junior doctors an 11% increase in basic pay, a day before a ballot on strike action is due to begin.

But the offer comes with cuts to payments for unsociable working hours. Mr Hunt says he is still willing to negotiate over the terms of new proposed contracts
