App 'helps cut hospital waiting times'

The latest data from NHS England shows A&E departments across the country continue to struggle to meet the four-hour waiting time target.

But at Wigan Infirmary they are using technology to improve waiting times, and staff believe it helps make theirs one of the best-performing emergency departments in England.

Mark Singleton from the Wrightington, Wigan and Leigh NHS Foundation Trust explained to the BBC's health correspondent Dominic Hughes how it works.
