Rio 2016: Olympic 'cupping' craze in action

A number of Olympians including Michael Phelps have been photographed with large red circles on their skin during Rio 2016.

'Cupping' is supposed to help the circulation of blood. Flammable liquid is lit in a glass cup, and once the flame goes out, the drop in temperature creates suction, as Jacky Long demonstrates.
