Why caesarean babies become obese

Babies who are born by caesarean section are more likely to be obese than babies born naturally, according to research conducted by Harvard University.

Dr Simon Cork, medical research scientist at Imperial College London, says why this is happening is still not certain but most experts think it is linked to how many bacteria babies are exposed to during childbirth.
