'Firefighters have higher heart attack risk due to heat'

A University of Edinburgh study says working in hot temperatures increases the risk of heart attack.

Researchers studied 19 non-smoking healthy firefighters during mock rescues.

Their blood became stickier after being exposed to heat for up to four hours, increasing their chances of forming potentially harmful clots.
