Will a Korean War army chaplain become a saint?

US Army Chaplain Father Emil Kapaun came from a small Kansas farming town, but he ended up on the front lines during the Korean War.

Time and time again his comrades said Fr Kapaun distinguished himself on the battlefield, but in November 1950 he was captured and sent to a POW camp.

Survivors said Fr Kapaun risked his life to steal food for the sick and tend to the dying. Many credited the chaplain with keeping them alive.

Father Kapaun eventually succumbed to his own illness and died at the camp.

Six decades after his death, he is being considered for the Congressional Medal of Honor - and sainthood in the Catholic Church.
