Could London have a 'High Line' park like New York?

The High Line is New York city's second most visited cultural venue.

The derelict elevated railway - now transformed into a park above the city's busy streets - attracts some 4m visitors a year.

Its popularity has inspired other cities, including London, to consider similar projects.

In London's East End, the elevated Bishopsgate Goods Yard has been abandoned since the mid-1960s and is now considered as ripe for regeneration.

Robert Hammond, co-founder of the High Line and president of Friends of the High Line, visited the Bishopsgate Goods Yard to see what it had to offer.
