What happens when a shark attacks a hagfish?

Hagfish are ancient creatures that live at the bottom of the ocean, scavenging for food.

When attacked by predators, they release a special slime to repel them. Scientists hope, one day, to make clothing out of the threads within this super-stretchy slime.
