Jen Lewin: Artist dazzles with light-and-sound installations
Jen Lewin is known as a new media interactive artist who works on large-scale installations that utilise lights and sound. Her art is designed for to encourage human interaction and play.
Although her medium includes computers, LED lights and advanced technology she insists that her work is just a natural evolution of art done with paint and brush.
In June, Jen Lewin's work will be shown in a solo show, Art/Techne, at the Colorado University Art Museum in Boulder, Colorado.
The BBC spent the day in her studio, watching Lewin work and discussing the intersection between art, technology and new media.
