#BBCtrending: Fighting for Bangalore's right to party

Bangalore and its nightclub scene have a had a tricky relationship over the last few years.

In 2008, a curfew and dancing ban were put into place in Bangalore's nightclubs and bars. After protests and reconsideration by the police, the dancing ban was removed, but the 11.30pm curfew lived on. Now, with India's elections in full swing, the curfew has been extended to 1am, but only on certain days of the week and for just 3 months.

People are getting around these curfews though, and they are using social media to do so.
