The numbers behind Brazil's widespread frustration
The world may be eagerly waiting for the World Cup to begin, but discontent rules on the streets of Brazil.
A new survey by the Pew Research Center, external found that a vast majority of Brazilians are not satisfied with their country's direction.
Their grievances are nothing new, but Pew Research found some of the highest levels of frustration in recent years.
As for the World Cup, the survey found that the views of Brazilians are mixed - some think it will help the economy while others fear the tournament is diverting resources.
