Iraqi refugees in Virginia reflect on the Sunni-Shia divide
As the jihadist group Isis continues to seize more land and power in Iraq, Iraqi refugees in the United States fear for their homeland but feel that the crisis is more complex than how it's portrayed.
Although some outsiders may view the conflict as a product of Iraq's sectarian divide, for some Iraqis their own relationships and family history contradict this assumption.
The BBC spoke to several Iraqi refugees from Roanoke, Virginia, about the current conflict and their perspective on sectarian divisions in Iraq.
